For years, a vacant lot and deteriorating building occupied the prime corner of First and Joliet Streets on the main street of downtown LaSalle. CL Real Estate purchased and is currently renovating this building for a brewpup, retail space, loft living spaces to transform this neglected corner into a destination once more. The Maytag building, built in the early 20th Century, with its historical charms, will be contrasted by a new Miesian steel and glass space at the corner of the building, tying together function and material. The corner will utilize outdoor space as well with a shared gathering place for both the guests and tenants of the building.
