Major Construction Milestones Reached in Washington Square

Construction is moving full steam ahead on the addition of a new Mixed-Use Development project including a new Tangled Roots Brewing venue in Washington, IL!

Under the oversight of CLRED’s VP of Construction and Development Nick Fox, Development Associate Erin Maze, and Construction Manager Aaron Browning, major development and construction milestones have been reached, with the rooftop beer garden framing and the exterior brick going up. 

With predevelopment completed and construction progressing nicely, we are beginning to see the excellent architectural designs of Lohan & Associates come to fruition. We can’t wait to see the positive effects this restaurant/brewpub and apartments will bring to Washington Square and beyond! 

The project is being built in partnership with the City of Washington and would not be possible without their continuous and significant help!  We thank Mayor Gary Manier and his excellent team, including City Manager Jim Snider and Planning Director Jon Oliphant, and the City Council.
